He describes himself as having been “somewhat of a nerd his whole life”. Computers, PC components and gaming have been part of that story from childhood.
Baumgardt says he has won gaming and computer competitions, as well as computers and PC parts as prizes. Those are his own recollections, supplied for this profile.
Building INTIES
INTIES brings together dating profiles, conversation and date planning. Its planned safety tools include identity and age verification, a Safe Word alert flow and an optional Trusted Contact.
The company describes its dating experience as ad-free. Alongside the practical functions, animated chat characters called Heroes give the app a playful element. Its early-access offer includes the Founder Squirrel character for qualifying sign-ups who confirm their email.
The product is still preparing for release. Identity verification and safety alerts have specific limits: an identity check cannot guarantee someone’s behaviour, and an email alert cannot guarantee that someone reads it or responds.
Baumgardt lives in the United Kingdom. He is 34 as of October 2026 and celebrates his birthday on 8 June.
More information about the app is available on the INTIES website.
